Pre-Release Information
GEDCOM_2_HTML.EXE is a program under development by Dr John Porteous
It is initially being developed to convert the GEDCOM file produced by the RootMagic(R) program
Into a form that can be hosted on a computer or a WEB site.
Whilst the program may eventually be offered as a shareware product, it is not currently sufficiently mature to allow that.
The current version is primarily aimed at generating one file per individual, showing both their children, parents and grandparents (where known)
together with developing a structured indexing system.
ongoing development work will gradually include the display of more of the GEDCOM functionality
